Samsung Galaxy Gear was very recently launched at IFA 2013 back in September. The smartwatch managed to grab many eyeballs and was quite the highlight in 2013's big tech releases.
Not wasting any time, Samsung has posted an image on Twitter that pretty much affirms the arrival of a Samsung Galaxy Gear follow-on.
Showing an image of the Samsung Galaxy Gear above ‘2013’ labelling, the teasing message features a large empty space alongside the slogan “what’s next. 2014.”

However, no precise launch details has been released.
Seeing the trend that Samsung follows, Galaxy Gear 2 is not expected to be unveiled until MWC 2014 in February alongside the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S5.

The current Samsung Galaxy Gear plays has an incorporated camera and a microphone and speaker combination that helps you make wrist-based calls.
However, the watch’s smartphone syncing alerts users to incoming emails but does not let them view the messages. Hopefully this feature and many more others are loaded in the Galaxy Gear 2.
