After wallpapers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 leaked yesterday, today we get a glimpse of some new features in the latest flagship, particularly the iris scanner.

Yes, the iris scanner is confirmed, according to leaked images Android Authority received. The screenshots are from Samsung’s new Grace UX aka TouchWiz interface, and show an additional phone lock feature called Irises. The Galaxy Note 7 lets you scan your eyes, so you can unlock your phone just by looking at it. However, take note there’s a lengthy disclaimer that lists when the scanner might not work, including if you’re wearing glasses or in low light.

Additional screenshots show Air Commands for the S Pen, including old ones like Screen Write, Smart Select, and Action Memo. However, a new option conspicuous in that set is a new Record command, that lets you easily capture and save GIFs from your screen.

A third set of screenshots give us a look at the app drawer, with a handy new option to automatically arrange apps in alphabetical order. There are also a few new icons and stock apps.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to have a 5.8-inch display, slightly larger than the Note 5’s 5.7-inch, and a 4000mAh battery in place of the Note 5’s 3220mAh. It is being tested with both the Exynos 8890 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, with 6GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, though there’s no word yet on expandable memory. Similarly, no camera specs have been leaked, but we’re likely looking at a 12MP/5MP camera combo from the Galaxy S7.

The Galaxy Note 7 is set to be officially unveiled at a launch event in New York on August 2. However, no price or sale date has yet been specified, though preorders have been opened to some countries.
