Samsung Galaxy Grand launched at Rs21,500

Samsung Galaxy Grand, which was announced in December 2012, has now reahed the Indian market. The 5 inch smartphone with dual-SIM functionality has been priced at Rs21500.

Samsung Galaxy Grand, which was announced in December 2012, has now reahed the Indian market. The 5 inch smartphone with dual-SIM functionality was launched on January 22 and has been priced at Rs21500.

Galaxy Grand Duos or Galaxy Grand I9082 has a 5 inch WVGA TFT screen which has a resolution of 480×800. It has an internal memory limtit of 8GB and an external memory of upto 64GB with the help of a microSD card.

It also has the other regular features like Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and WiFi. The Galaxy Grand runs on Jelly Bean, the newest version of Android.

This Samsung's new edition comes just a day after Micromax announced its Canvas HD with 5-inch screen.

At the back, the smartphone has an 8MP camera with LED flash, while there is a 2MP front camera.


Other features of the device include  Smart Alert, Direct Call,  AllShare Play and Popup Video . Galaxy Grand will also have multi-app functionality, allowing users to access two apps simultaneously.
