If you've been waiting to get your hands on the new OnePlus 2, you're in luck. OnePlus will be hosting an open sale for their new smartphone very soon.
In a blog post on their forums, OnePlus has apologised for the delay in the rollout of the OnePlus 2. The company says they've been forced to release invites at a slower rate than they would've liked, and have also begun shipping their product around a month later than the expected date. The reason is that OnePlus is still doing some bugfixing for OxygenOS, and also, apparently, addressing issues with their microUSB cable. To make up for that, OnePlus says they plan to have an open sale for the phone, without an invite or registration required, for one hour sometime late September or early October. The date is yet unspecified, because the company is still discussing the feasibility of the plan. Stay glued to the forums for the next few days and you should find the date you're looking for.
