OnePlus’ last phone, the OnePlus X was a well -received device, especially from users craving a mid-range smartphone in a manageable size. Now, all eyes are set on the company’s next launch, the OnePlus 3.
A leaked benchmark for the phone was reportedly spotted online, codenamed “Rain”, as a fitting follow up to the OnePlus 2’s code name “Spring”. The benchmark shows the OnePlus 3 features a 5-inch full HD (1920x1080) display with a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front cam. It runs a 2.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU. The device is expected to have two variants; 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage.
The report indicates the OnePlus 3 is likely to launch by May 28, with bookings available in June. The possible renders for the device were already leaked late last year.
