OnePlus 2 open sale October 12 on Amazon India

OnePlus has, in a blog post today, announced that their "flagship killer" the OnePlus 2 will go on open sale on October 12 on Amazon India. 

You can head over to this link and buy the popular OnePlus 2 without needing an invite, between 12 pm and 1 pm on Monday.

In the blog post, OnePlus apologises to its fans for the slow rollout of its purchase invites for the OnePlus 2, meaning not enough of their latest smartphone have made it into customers' hands. To fix that, they're hosting the open sale on October 12 where, for one hour, you can buy the phone without needing an invite, just as they had promised they would earlier in September.

The OnePlus 2 packs a 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with Adreno 430 GPUand 4GB RAM. It has a 5.5" full HD (1920x1080p) display with 401 ppi, a 13MP f/2.0 rear cam with laser auto focus and 5MP front cam. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery, has 64GB internal storage (not expandable) and runs on Oxygen OS over Android 5.1. The OnePlus 2 is priced at Rs 24,999
