Samsung has sent out media invites for an event which will take place on February 26, at Mobile World Congress 2017. The invitation also teases the Galaxy Tab S3. It’s been quite a while since Samsung released an Android tablet, under the ‘Galaxy S’ brand. The Galaxy Tab S2 was launched way back in 2015.

Last month, a GFXBench benchmark readout specifications for the version number SM-T825. The device is said to sport a 9.6-inch display with a 2048 x 1535 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 CPU which will be paired with 4GB of RAM. The device will most likely include an internal storage of 32GB, and will come equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. It is also expected to come in two variants - LTE and Wi-Fi.

A report by Android Police pointed out that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 will somehow be even thinner than its 5.6mm predecessor. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat. It is rumoured to be priced at roughly $607 (approximately Rs 41,000). The tablet  has also passed through the FCC.
