Microsoft unveils bollywood-centric mojis and Indian icon packs for Skype

In an event in Delhi today, Gurdeep Pall, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft, Skype and Skype for Business announced their partnership with Eros and YRF to bring moji support to Skype. Mojis are a lot like animated GIFs but more like short video clips. These clips will include movies such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, RA one, Dhoom 2 & 3, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Devdas and more.

The new Skype update will also incorporate India-themed icons including Indian cuisine, festivals, expressions and culture.

These two new features will be available starting today on the updated Skype client on Android, iOS and Windows desktop.
