Leaked: 12.9-inch 'iPad Pro 2' images surface online

Apart from the numerous leaks for iPhone 7, a few images surface online which offer a glimpse for the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2.

The image was sent by an anonymous tipster to Apple Insider, and is said to originate from within a Chinese supplier currently working on an iPad Pro model scheduled to go into production in late September.

The device sports a model number MH1C2CD/F, which has not yet been assigned to any iPad so far, by Apple. The device’s screen hints at a storage capacity of 12GB which is appropriate for installing an OS and other apps.

Based on previous leaks, the new iPad will pack in a 12.9-inch screen and will be powered by an A10X processor along with an improved camera and 3D Touch respectively.

At the moment, Apple has not disclosed any information regarding their yearly event in September. The company is expected to unveil three different variants for the next iPhone, which will reportedly be the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 Pro or iPhone Plus Premium.

On the rumour front, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 may get rid of camera lens and add a dual-camera system. It may also drop the 3.5mm headphone jack and shrink the size of its next phone, and could offer entirely wireless headphones over Bluetooth as well.
