Karbonn mobiles launches 4G-enabled Quattro L50 with customizable Kandy UI

Karbonn Mobiles has launched their Quattro L50 HD 4G smartphone running its new ‘Kandy’ user interface that enables greater levels of customization and user control.

Karbonn Kandy has been designed to allow users to dictate the way they use and experience their smartphones to match their digital proficiency. Cutting down on multiple menus, Kandy offers an integrated interface through which users can access the phone dialer, contacts, logs and messages within a single menu with one swipe. Users can also customise their notification and shortcut tabs to choose which notifications and functions they need to access on priority, enabling one-touch access to several frequently-used features.

The UI also includes shortcuts to music settings including audio enhancers, volume boosters and surround modes.

The Quattro’s Kandy UI also facilitates theming, enabling users to customise the entire look and feel of the device, including selecting icons and colours that reflect personal style and preferences.

There is also a section that enables control over mobile data usage, helping keep a check on data plan utilization. On the privacy front, users can also control the types of information they wish to share with installed apps facilitating a more secure smartphone experience.

The Quattro L50 smartphone embodies a 5-inch HD IPS screen in a unibody design. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage along with a 2600mAh battery, and is priced at Rs 7,990.
