The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now on sale in India. Online and offline retailers such as Snapdeal, Amazon, Flipkart, Infibeam, Tata Cliq and Paytm are offering various deals and discounts. Additionally, Airtel and Reliance Jio also announced offers for the new iPhones in India.
The 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variant of the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 is priced at Rs 60,000, Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000, respectively. The 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is also available in same storage capacity and will cost Rs 72,000 for 32GB, Rs 82,000 for 128GB and Rs 92,000 for 256GB.
Reliance Jio
Reliance Jio will offer free voice calls, 20GB data and unlimited SMS for one year, worth Rs 18,000, to all new iPhone users on its network. All new iPhone users on the Jio network can avail this offer from January 1 next year after their 'welcome plan' expires on December 31, 2016.
Under this new scheme, the iPhone users on Jio's network will receive one year of complimentary services. This means people who buy any iPhone device from Reliance Retail or Apple store and use a Jio connection would get the 'Welcome Offer' completely free till December 31, 2016. From January 1, all these iPhone users will get the Rs 1,499 plan completely free for 1 year, which equals value worth Rs 18,000.
The Rs 1,499 plan includes unlimited local and STD voice calling and national roaming, 4G Data of up to 20 GB, unlimited 4G data at night, 40GB of WiFi data, unlimited SMS and unlimited Jio Apps subscription. This translates into 15 months of Jio services absolutely free for new iPhone buyers.
Airtel
For iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users, Airtel offers 10GB free 4G/3G data per month for one year with any Airtel Infinity Postpaid plan. Airtel’s Infinity plan starts at Rs 949 with 1GB data. The company stated that over the duration of one year, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users can get 120GB additional 4G/3G data.
Airtel is reportedly also offering the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus at a down payment of Rs 19,990 and Rs 30,792, respectively. However, this offer is only valid to customers in Noida and Karnataka.
Three offers are available namely, a Rs 1,999 plan which includes 5GB data + Unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile + fixed line), Rs 2,499 plan which includes 10GB data + Unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile + fixed line) and a Rs 2,999 plan which includes 15GB data + Unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile + fixed line).
