Indian makes 'Google Glass' replica for just Rs 4500!

Arvind Sanjeev from Kochi, Kerala has come up with a replica of the Google Glass which is called "Smart Cap". Costing just Rs 4,500, the replica is made by using a simple USB webcam, a LCD panel, aspheric lens, headphones, sun board sheet and glue.

Digit.in reports that the replica works on an open Android along with an LCD screen which is fitted on top of it. The device when used with headphones also replies to human commands. To replicate the eye piece like on the Google Glass, Arvind has used an aspheric lens.

Sanjeev also has his own DIY profile which allows others to understand the working behind the device.
