The Master Chief Collection brings together everything Halo culminating ten years of work to bring this compilation into existence. Released for the Xbox One in November 2014, The Master Chief collection includes - Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. The compilation includes graphically superior versions of all the games and include a remarkable high-definition redesign in terms of audio and video for Halo 2. Owners of this

collection also get access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta and the live-action series Halo: Nightfall.

All the games in the compilation retain their own original story and gameplay with the exception of Halo 2 which had it’s cutscenes extended using CGI or computer-generated imagery. I’m not much of a “die-hard halo fan” but when I started playing it felt like it became a part of me and I believe this collection has enough to make the collection a must buy for any Halo fan or someone interested in the franchise. I absolutely love the space visuals, the colors and the effects are amazing. It really shows that a lot of effort has been put into making the game and therefore it is what it is today. The characters felt super realistic so it takes you into the game instantly. The hint of music playing in the background really adds to the thrill of playing, keeping the gamers motivated and engrossed into the mission.

The Master Chief collection also features a multiplayer mode which features every map released for every title with the addition of six special remakes for the Halo 2 maps. The multiplayer and matchmaking experiences are not the best and require a lot of work, 343 Industries, although is working diligently at fixing the issues there.

The game’s beautiful visuals and great audio make this collection a truly amazing way to experience the Halo storyline and I would definitely recommend it for just that, if the multiplayer gets fixed, this collection will be one of the best in gaming history.
