Gionee S6s selfie-focused smartphone launched at Rs 17,999; features 5.5-inch display, 13MP camera

Gionee has launched yet another selfie-focused smartphone in India called, Gionee S6s. The device is priced at Rs 17,999 and will be available via Amazon. It will be available via offline retail stores in the near future as well. It will be available in Latte Gold and Mocha Gold color variants. 

In terms of specifications, the Gionee S6s packs in a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 2.5D curved-edge glass.  It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo 3.2 based on top, the smartphone packs in an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. One will also find a fingerprint scanner at the back. 

It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also includes an 8MP front facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 5P lens and a front-facing flash as well. Connectivity features include 4G (with VoLTE), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB. A 3150mAh battery completes the package.
