After much hype caused by Tesla CEO Elon Musk's post on Twitter last week regarding a possible product launch, the hi-tech car manufacturer unveiled a new line of sedan cars of its Model S called the "D".
The "D" stands for dual, and these technologically advanced cars will be all-wheel drives with two motors, according to Venturebeats.com. The advanced technology will also add 10 miles per electric charge and have an average 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds. One can also shift from front wheel to back wheel in nanoseconds.
CEO Elon Musk at the event said, “This car is nuts. It’s like taking off from a carrier deck. It’s just bananas. It’s like having your own personal roller coaster.” The car also gives the driver an option to chose from 3 diving settings, Normal, Sport and Insane.
Tesla Motors Inc CEO's tweet has made waves across Twitter and perhaps left everyone curious about Tesla's new feature. Musk on Thursday's Tesla event at airport in Hawthorne, California unvieled Tesla's new Model 'D' with technology that will help drivers keep the machine on the correct path and stop it for drifting off the road.
The new Tesla will have state of the art cruise control features according to NewsDay reports.
His tweet has been re-tweeted almost 14.5 k times and has been favourited by about 10500 handles.

Elon Musk has over a million followers with only 1030 tweets as of October 9.
In his tweet, Musk mentions "something else" which is the new auto pilot feature that makes sure the driver stays safe and always on track. Musk defined it as a forward looking radar that sieves through heavy fog, mist, rain and snow and in Musk's words "really anything".
The cars can also change lanes with minimum human action. All one needs to do is flick the turn signal. The cars also "read" speed limit signs and adjust their speed.
All the models have a December delivery date, except the 60D and 85D, which are slated to start arriving at customers' doors in February 2015.
Other details include:
* Its autopilot can be adjusted based on how aggressive you want to drive. You can over-power the car, but it will warn you before you do anything dangerous
* New photo and radar system can recognize lights, stop signs and pedestrians
* Radar works through fog, rain, snow and sand. It works from 5 miles per hour to 150 miles per hour
* Self parks—you can arrive at home and step out and the car will park itself
* On private property, car can meet you when ready to leave. It connects to your digital calendar so it knows when it's needed
* New display shows cars around you
