Diablo 3 gets a major update with patch 2.4

Diablo 3 is getting a major update. Patch 2.4 comes with a ton of new content that will change gameplay significantly as well as a brand new playable area.

Diablo 3 players will be treated to 50 new legendary items as well as reworked existing armor sets. Most RPG's usually nerf some over powered items to compensate for any imbalances but Blizzard went with a different approach by buffing a lot of weak items.

The new playable area called Greyhollow Island, a dark and gloomy forest that is completely explorable in adventure mode, so be prepared for some story element that are lurking around the corner. Existing areas have also expanded upon.

This patch is likely to breathe new life into the series, not that it needed it in the first place but the change of pace is a nice mix.
