What you’re seeing at the top of this article is not an old-school strategy game, or a screenshot from a pixel art illustration, instead it’s a sheer work of art from Minecraft.

The Kindom of Galekin, as it’s called is the work of one player Linard, who painstakingly crafted this behemoth of a city over the course of more than four years.

Not only does the fantasy world have imposing castles and basilicas, Linard has also constructed multiple settlements with homes, docks and town squares to boot. What’s more impressive is that Galekin isn’t just a reproduction of a real or fictional kingdom, it’s a completely original design.
