Man drinks on flight, molests hostess

A logistics engineer had to pay a heavy price for consuming a peg. He molested an air hostess aboard an Emirates Dubai-Mumbai flight and she filed a complaint with the Sahar police.

On June 3, Harun Salam Balaich, 46, an engineer from Jalna was on board Emirates Dubai-Mumbai flight EK 500.  The flight took off from Dubai at 10 pm. After half an hour, food and beverages were served. Balaich asked for a peg of Black Label whisky.  “After the peg, he asked air-hostess Sunita (name changed) for one more,” said the cop. When Singh took the drink to him, he asked for her help to open the seat belt. When she bent to help, he tried to hug her. Sunita lodged a complaint after the flight landed at 3 am.

Balaich will be in police custody for 14 days.
