It was a dream come true for six Pune men, representing Team India in the Budweiser 6v6 Cup, when they met Manchester United legend Bryan Robson.

The former United and England captain was present at the Carrington training grounds for the draw of the tournament which will be played in Old Trafford on Monday.

Robson was not left idle for a single moment. From the moment his arrival was announced to the time the teams left the training grounds, he was either busy signing autographs or getting pictures with the awestruck players. “This is one football tournament which actually is like living a dream, there is no feeling better than to be a part of Manchester United family,” said the 52-year old.

Speaking on the sidelines of the training, the former midfielder felt the energy level of the players was very high. But added that a player can not exhibit much of his talent in a 10-minute game.

With 12 teams divided in two groups, the tournament starts and ends on Monday at the Old Trafford stadium. Six players will take the field with two rolling substitutions in each half of five minutes. India is clubbed with Sweden, Malta, Bahrain, Chile and Abu Dhabi in Group II.

Group A has Argentina, Dubai, Belgium, Vietnam, Ireland and Qatar. Surprisingly, defending champions England and runners up Cyprus are not participating in the seventh edition.

Accompanying Bryan Robson for the awards ceremony will be another England legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
