Actress Tara Sharma says she has enjoyed reading different kinds of books at different points in her life.

"Currently, as I am pregnant I enjoy reading The Shopaholics series by Sophie Kinsella, not because it is anywhere close to being cerebral but because it is realistic and funny at the same time.

"When I was younger I enjoyed reading Days Of The Turban written by my dad Pratap Sharma. The novel is based in Punjab and steeped in history. It was also an emotional read for me. When I was still younger, maybe in my teens, I recall adoring Rebecca by British author Daphne du Maurier.

"I am a total movie buff with an inclination towards romantic films. My best movie is Pretty Woman as it's a feel-good film," says the mother-to-be. Sharma found the film to be inspiring and the acting par excellence.

"I must have watched it at least 15 times so far and totally adore the scene where the song, 'It must have been love', is playing out in the background and Julia Roberts is leaving; Richard Gere comes like a knight in shining amour to get her back."

Clearly, Tara Sharma is a romantic at heart.
