Jennifer Hudson laughs off baby rumours

Jennifer Hudson has laughed off rumours suggesting that she's pregnant.

Essence magazine had earlier alleged the Dreamgirls actress/singer was expecting her first child with fiance David Otunga, claiming they had received confirmation "through two sources close to" Hudson, reports The Daily Express.

However, the star's representative has dismissed the happy news, saying there is "no, no, no, no way" the rumours are true, reports TheCelebrityTruth.com.

Hudson, who was a contestant at American Idol, saw the darkest period of her life when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago.

The beauty's estranged brother-in-law William Balfour was later charged with the killings.

Hudson returned to the stage on February 1, singing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl.

A week later, she won her first Grammy Award for best R&B album.
