Matt Dillon fined $800 for speeding

Actor Matt Dillon had to pay USD 800 as fine after pleading guilty for speeding.

Dillon's case was dismissed after he paid the fine for speeding through Vermont in December last year.

As part of the plea agreement, a negligent operation charge against Dillon was dropped, according to TMZ online.

The 44-year-old 'Crash' star was stopped by state troopers in Newbury, Vermont on 30 December, after he was allegedly caught travelling at a speed of 171 kilometres per hour, which is above the 104 kilometres per hour speed limit.
