NEW DELHI: Palmolein and coconut oils rose up to Rs 50 per quintal in the national capital on pick-up in retailers demand against restricted arrivals.
    
Palmolein (rbd) attracted fresh buying from retailers to meet domestic demand and gained Rs 50 at Rs 3,500 per quintal.
    
Coconut oil also traded higher by Rs 10 at Rs 1,120-1,130 per tin of 15 litre.
    
In the non-edible section, castor oil lost Rs 100 at Rs 6,700-6,800 per quintal on reduced industrial offtake.
    
Traders said pick-up in retailers demand mainly led to rise in palmolein and coconut oil prices.
    
Following were today's quotations in Rs quintal:
    
Oilseeds: mustard seed 2,900-3,000 and Groundnut seed 2,600-2,900.
Vanaspati ghee (15 litres tin) 750-800.
Edible oils: Groundnut mill delivery 5,600, Groundnut solvent refined (per tin) 1,080-1,130, Mustard Expeller 6,750, Mustard Pakki ghani (per tin) 760-925, Mustard kachi ghani (per tin) 925-1000, Sunflower 6,500, Sesame mill delivery 6,300, Soybean Refined mill delivery 5,200, Soyabean degum (Delhi) 5,000, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-kandla) 2,630, Cottonseed mill delivery 4,350, palmolein (RBD) 3,500, Rice bran (phy) 3,600 and coconut (per tin) 1,120-1,130.
     
Non-edible oils: Linseed 4,650 Mahuwa 4,300, Castor 6,800-6,900, Neem 3,400-3,500, Rice bran 3,800-3,950 and palm fatty 3,125-3,200.
    
Oilcakes: groundnut de-husk 800-850, Sesame 950-1150, Mustard (new) 1025-1050, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
