Delhi cops blame it on Bangladeshi migrants.

NEW DELHI: As the Delhi police launched a manhunt for the suspects in Saturday’s Mehrauli blast, one more person succumbed to his injuries on Sunday at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The death toll in the tragedy is now three and at least seven more victims are still in a critical state.

The Delhi police on Sunday put illegal Bangladeshi migrants under the scanner, claiming Saturday’s attack could have been carried out by a terror module of such people living the city. However, the cops have ruled out the involvement of Indian Mujahideen (IM) or Simi in the attack.

“The modus operandi  and the way the explosives were packed is very different from the IM operations. IM always sent an e-mail taking responsibility for the attacks and the way they packaged the bomb was also different,” said a senior police officer.

Meanwhile, the Faridabad police have detained two men – one who sold the SIM card  from which the threat call was made and the other who reportedly bought it.
