MUMBAI: Bal Thackeray, the man who has presided over the fluctuating fortunes of the Shiv Sena for 40 turbulent years, gave a 30-minute harangue on latest bete noir Narayan Rane in his Dassera address. Immerse Rane and Sonia Gandhi, he said.
A charged Thackeray announced Parshuram Uparkar to take on one-time protege Rane in his stronghold Malvan, an announcement that was cheered by the crowd.
