77.33 % pass HSC in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: Around 77.33 per cent of the candidates who appeared for this year's class 12th examination (Higher Secondary Certificate) conducted by the Maharashtra education board have come out with flying colours.
    
In Mumbai division, 80.24 per cent of the candidates who appeared for the exam have passed where Priyanka Jain topped the list with 96.50 per cent marks.
    
Sheetal Jajoo and Samir Mandge topped with 94.83 per cent in Aurangabad division while Pratik Patil topped in Nashik with 96.17 per cent marks.
    
The pass percentage of candidates in Pune division is 81.46 per cent, Kolhapur 83.93 per cent, Amravati 71.23 per cent, Nagpur 77.60 per cent and Latur 79.99 per cent.
