BSP affecting us: Congress

NEW DELHI: The Congress admitted on Sunday that the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will affect its vote bank but added that other political parties too will be hit.

"The BSP might make inroads into our vote bank. This may affect our chances of coming to power," said Jayanthi Natarajan, the Congress spokesperson.

Natarajan said that traditionally the Dalits had supported the Congress in Karnataka. The BSP contested more than 100 seats in the state.
