Woman pregnant despite sterilisation

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A woman who found herself 15 weeks pregnant even after undergoing sterilisation has filed a complaint with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati seeking action against the doctors involved.
       
Rakesh, a mother of seven children, underwent sterilisation on February 25, 2008 at a governement hospital in Dewal village in the district as she and her husband did not want more child.
       
She went to the hospital for sterilisation, but nearly after two-and-half months, she was shocked upon learning that she was pregnant.
       
Rakesh had filed a complaint to the chief minister and demanded action against doctors guilty in the case.
