NEW DELHI: Country's leading mobile service provider Bharti Airtel on Thursday said it has become the first Indian telecom firm to cross the four-million subscriber mark in Delhi.<BR> <BR>At present, Airtel has extensive network of cell sites across Delhi and NCR and plans to increase them by over 26 per cent in FY'09.<BR> <BR>"The four-million milestone speaks volume of the trust that our customers have in the Airtel brand. This achievement is a testimony of our ability to offer innovative and affordable services like Super Lifetime, reduced STD and<BR>roaming tariffs as we move forward," Airtel Delhi circle (Mobility) CEO Shashi Arora said.<BR> <BR>Bharti Airtel, which is the largest telecom service provider in India, has a subscriber base of 64.26 million, of which 61.98 million are mobile customers.<BR> <BR>The mobile business of Bharti Airtel provides mobile and fixed wireless services using GSM technology across 23 telecom circles.
