Prince William considers brief media career

LONDON: Prince William is considering to follow his spells in the armed services with a short career in media.
  
The brief taste of life in the media is one of a series of 'work experience' placements being discussed as part of a plan to prepare the prince for public life and ultimately the throne.
  
The Clarence House plan raises the possibility that soon his byline, presumably William Wales, will appear in a national newspaper, the Guardian reported.
  
One person involved in the decision-making said, "I think it would be a good idea for him to find out how the media works. It's something I would like to see him do."

The prince, whose mother was hounded by the fourth estate, has already served in the army, is currently undergoing training with the RAF in Lincolnshire to become a pilot and later this year will spend time with the Royal Navy.
  
After that, advisers are keen for him to undertake a range of training in civilian life, to complete his education in how the country he will one day rule operates.
  
Clarence House insisted that no decision had been taken so far.
