NEW DELHI: Aiming to strengthen its position in the three-wheeler market, Bajaj Auto on Saturday unveiled a new autorickshaw powered by gasoline direct injection (GDi) engine with price starting from Rs 92,500 (ex-showroom Pune).

BAL claimed the RE GDi would deliver 33 per cent better fuel-efficiency than the conventional RE autorickshaw.

Bajaj Auto offers a wide range of three-wheelers, from 2-stroke gasoline, 2-stroke LPG, 2-stroke CNG, 4-stroke gasoline, 4-stroke LPG, 4-stroke CNG to Diesel variant. It sells about 25,000 vehicles per month.
