Suzuki to display concept bike Biplane at Auto Expo

Japanese bike maker Suzuki Motor Co will display its might at the upcoming auto expo in January where it will showcase a new concept motorcycle Biplane.

NEW DELHI: Attempting to woo Indian customers once again, Japanese bike maker Suzuki Motor Co will display its might at the upcoming auto expo in January where it will showcase a new concept motorcycle Biplane.

The company which is attempting to revive its fortune in the country after their break-up in 2001 with Chennai-based TVS Motor Co, will display the - Biplane, which was showcased for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show last month.

Based on futuristic aerodynamics, the bike is powered by Suzuki's latest V4 engine of undisclosed displacement, Suzuki said in a statement.
   
Biplane has been inspired by aircraft and has been designed with an intent to give the rider the same feeling as being in Biplane.
   
Japan's Suzuki Motor operates in India through its wholly-owned subsidiary Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd which presently sells two bike models -- 125 cc Heat and Zeus. It had recently launched a 125 cc family scooter 'Access' in the country.
