KANPUR: Describing Rahul Dravid's decision to relinquish Team India captaincy as purely a personal decision, BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla said there was no foul play in it.

"Dravid's decision to resign was purely personal and the Board respects his decision," Shukla told here on Tuesday.

Dravid had once said that the burden of captaincy was affecting his game and that was why he wanted to leave it, Shukla said.

Shukla was here with the Pakistan Cricket Board officials to have a look at the preparations at the Green Park Stadium, which is scheduled to host an India-Pakistan one-day match next month.
