Salman not to get any special treatment in jail

JODHPUR: Bollywood actor Salman Khan will not be given any special treatment while serving his five-year term in Jodhpur jail in the blackbuck poaching case.

He has been kept in a regular cell and given the required security in accordance with the procedure of the prison, Jailor Aota Ram said.

"We will go as per the jail manual and he will not be given any special treatment," he said.

Khan was on Saturday arrested and sent to jail shortly after he landed from Mumbai to surrender after losing the appeal against a five-year prison term given by a lower court.
