Here is some bad news for all ‘Simpsons’ lovers. Most of the multiplexes like Fame Cinemas, Inox, Adlabs and Fun Republic have decided not to screen ‘The Simpsons’. Apparently, Warner Brothers demanded a greater number of shows of the film ‘The Simpsons’, which the multiplexes were not willing to comply with. Hence multiplexes across the country have decided not to screen it as well as well as pull out Warner Brothers’ ‘Harry Potter…’

The operation’s officer of one of the multiplexes says, “Four movies are releasing this week including ‘Cash’, ‘Gandhi My Father’ and ‘Surfs Up’. Warner Brothers must realise that English movies do not draw as much a crowd as Hindi films do. We can’t afford to loose out on revenue and hence can’t give them the number of shows they are demanding.”

When approached ‘Warner Brothers’, spokesperson said, “We are releasing the movie all over. We haven’t received any written confirmation from the multiplexes that they will not be screening our movies. Though a few multiplexes have conveyed this verbally to us, it can’t be considered as an official confirmation.”
