She started acting when she was just three years old. After modelling for fifteen advertisements, Baby Ahsaas Chanana finally bagged a full fledged film ‘Ganesha’ recently. The eight-year-old has just finished shooting for the film and has got back to studies but says that she misses being on the sets.

Ahsaas says, “I loved working for ‘Ganesha’. I used to be pampered to death.” Recalling one of the funny incidents, she says, “For one of the scenes I had to come out of the bus and start talking to myself. But as soon as I stepped out, it started raining.

I was happy thinking that the shoot would get cancelled. But I learnt that it was artificial rain and a part of the scene. The entire crew burst out laughing. I was embarrassed beyond limits but it was good fun.”

Incidentally, the cute little girl doesn’t know as much about Lord Ganesha as she knows about Preity Zinta. Ahsaas says she is extremely fond of her. “When I grow up I want to be like Preity. I like the way she looks and behaves,” smiles Ahsaas.

At this comment her mother Kulbeer Baderson adds, “After watching ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ Preity has caught her fantasy. She loved her character in the film and thinks that she would be the same in real life too.”

Another celebrity she is extremely fond of is Shah Rukh Khan. Apparently, it is during the shooting for the ‘Jet Airways’ commercial that the little girl was smitten by her.

Ahsaas speaks fondly about Shah Rukh as she recalls, “I was feeling very cold in London and Shah Rukh taught me different tricks to keep myself warm. He asked me to rub my hands, jump and jog. He is fun to be with and I would love to work with him again.”

The little girl is extremely fond of acting; though it does get difficult for her to juggle her work, studies and dance classes. Her mother Kulbeer says, “She carries her school bag on the sets and whenever she gets some free time I make her study and complete her homework.” She concludes, “She is a talented kid and manages things well.”
