I-T personnel raided the Shriram Club in Bandra on Tuesday night where they discovered that gambling was in progress, the official said.

MUMBAI: Income-Tax department officials has raided a club allegedly owned by the relative of a State Minister and recovered cash and documents related to illegal investments, a senior official said on Wednesday.
Acting on specific information, the I-T personnel raided the Shriram Club in suburban Bandra on Tuesday night where they discovered that gambling was in progress, the official said.
The club is allegedly owned by D S Bindra, father-in-law of Maharasthra Food and Civil Supplies Minister Baba Siddiqui, the official added.
The official, however, declined to provide any further details.
