Monograph to reveal secret of Lalu's success

NEW DELHI: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on Tuesday said a forthcoming monograph on him would give the "secret of his success" in life and in turning the railways into a "goldmine".

Autographing a copy of the coffee-table monograph authored by Neena Jha and Shivnath Jha, the RJD chief said the book would help "ambitious people, corporate houses, management students and others who want to reach the top in life".

The monograph is dedicated to Lalu Prasad's mentor, former Bihar chief minister Karpoori Thakur, Jaya Prakash Narayan, late Dhirubhai Ambani and others.

It is slated to hit bookshops a week before lalu Prasad's 60th birthday on June 5, the day Jaya Prakash launched "Sampoorna Kranti" (total revolution), his social transformation programme.

It contains several articles on Lalu Prasad's life, his "basic mantra" for success in life and his turnaround of the railways.
