Clinton, Bush senior to attend Yeltsin funeral

WASHINGTON: Former presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush will represent the US at former Russian president Boris Yeltsin's funeral, the White House said on Tuesday.
 
Yeltsin will be buried Wednesday in Moscow. The White House announcement confirmed statements by Russian officials.
 
Yeltsin and George HW Bush, the current US president's father, had signed a nuclear missile reduction treaty in 1993.
 
Clinton, whose time in office also coincided with Yeltsin's, has praised the late Russian leader's "willingness look at the facts and make a tough decision he thought was in Russia's long term interest".
