CHENNAI: An all-party meeting has been convened by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at 10 am, on February 19 to discuss the final award of the Cauvery river water disputes tribunal.
The Tamil Nadu government has announced that it will file a review petition before the tribunal against some points in the final award that went against the state's interests.
The PMK, an ally of the ruling DMK, had demanded that an all-party meeting should be convened to discuss the award.
PMK founder S Ramadoss had criticised the state government for keeping its allies in the dark on vital issues like the tribunal's award.
