Search on for lawyers on the run

NEW DELHI: Making a mockery of the law and order situation in the state, the Ghaziabad police has now declared six lawyers — who had assaulted Noida’s serial killer duo during the previous court hearing — as “absconders”.

Interestingly, even after carrying out investigations for the past fourteen days and collecting adequate video and still photographs, showing lawyers brutally beating up Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Surinder Koli during the court proceedings on January 25, the police have not been able to arrest a single assaulter till now.      

Meanwhile, the alleged killer duo was again presented before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Thursday for the third time and the court again sent them to 14 days CBI custody.
