VADODARA: West Indian captain Brian Lara won the toss and elected to field in the fourth and final one-day international against India on Wednesday.

India, still searching for a suitable World Cup combination, recalled Irfan Pathan for his first match since he was sent home from the tour of South Africa last month due to poor form.

The West Indies, who need a win to draw the series 2-2, are playing their last one-dayer before the World Cup opens in the Caribbean on March 13.

India will play another four-match series against Sri Lanka next month before heading off to the World Cup.

India: Rahul Dravid (capt), Sourav Ganguly, Robin Uthappa, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Anil Kumble.

West Indies: Brian Lara (capt), Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Smith, Denesh Ramdin, Lendl Simmons, Ian Bradshaw, Reyad Emrit, Daren Powell, Devon Smith.
