A decision in this regard was taken at the party's 'chintan manthan sivir' (introspection camp) at Dimna on Wednesday, senior vice-president and JMM legislative party leader Champai Soren said on Thursday.

Champai said a campaign has been started in East Singhbhum district to mobilise support for the programme, in which thousands of party workers and supporters are expected to participate.

The objective is to express solidarity for 'Guruji', as former Union minister Shibu Soren is addressed in Jharkhand, as he was falsely implicated in the murder case by political rivals, Champai said.

"JMM leaders held discussions regarding their future course of action to get Soren released from jail," he said.

Party leaders have decided to continue their state-wide protests in support of Soren's release.

Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto, who was present at the camp, said Soren was implicated durinh a planned conspiracy by political rivals to create instability in the state.

Mahto said the JMM would organise a nyay yatra across the state to garner support for Soren's release.
