NOIDA: The abducted three-year-old son of the Adobe India's CEO Naresh Gupta remained untraced till Wednesday, though police claim to have got vital clues which they do not want to reveal at the moment.

"We have managed to develop some information about the people who could be behind the kidnapping. It would not be correct to give any details on the information as it might jeopardise the investigations," said Rajesh Kumar Singh Rathore, senior superintendent of police.

Anant Gupta was seized by two motorcycle riding men from near his home in this town on the outskirts of Delhi while on his way to a bus stop to go to school.

"The complete details of the people involved would be made available at a later stage. We fear the kidnappers might harm the boy if any information about them is revealed," Singh added.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police have also joined the search for the boy given the capital's proximity to this satellite town.

"The kidnappers can try to enter Delhi since Noida is just a few kilometres away. We have started a parallel search for the boy," said Muktesh Chander, additional commissioner Crime Branch of Delhi Police.

"We are trying to develop information and we are in touch with the police of Ghaziabad, Meerut and Muzaffarnagar to further develop clues," Chander said on Tuesday, adding that the Delhi Police was the nodal agency to handle interstate crime in the vicinity of the capital.

The anti-kidnapping cell of the Crime Branch and Special Cell are also assisting with the investigations.

Naresh Gupta was in the US when the abduction took place.
