Petrol station employee sustains bullet injury

MUMBAI: A petrol pump employee was injured in Goregaon after being fired at by three unidentified persons following an altercation in the wee hours of Monday.

"The altercation broke out when the trio asked for a change of Rs 100 from Vijay Kamble (30), a worker at the Car Care petrol pump in Goregaon East at 4.20 am," police said.

Then one of them fired a round with a country-made revolver injuring Kamble on his thigh.

Kamble was rushed to a nearby hospital, from where he has been discharged after first-aid, police added.
