BharatMatrimony enters Limca Book of Records

CHENNAI: BharatMatrimony, a leading Internet based matchmaker, on Thursday said its name has been entered in the Limca Book of World Records for facilitating the highest number of marriages than any other Indian counterpart over a period of seven years from 1999.

The portal's founder and CEO Murugael Janakiraman, said that "BharatMatrimony has been consistently rated as India's number one matrimony service provider by several leading third party research organisations.

"Our entry into the Limca Book of Records is a true testimony of our commitment of being a responsible and innovative matrimonial website," he said

The company has nine million registered members, the release claimed.

The company planned to open offices in the UK and in key South East Asian markets to cater to the Indian Diaspora and also planned to open up religion and country based matrimony portals soon, he said.
