Two Howrah-Secunderabad Exp coaches derail

GUNTUR (Andhra Pradesh): Two coaches of Faluknama Express derailed near Siripuram railway station in the early hours on Monday, disrupting traffic on the route.

No one was injured in the incident, railway officials said.

The derailed coaches were delinked and the Howrah-Secunderabad train has resumed its onward journey after a delay of two hours.

However, all trains between Guntur and Nadikudi stations were cancelled and some express trains to Hyderabad were diverted via Vijayawada and Kazipet stations, officials added.
