CHHATARPUR/MADHYA PRADESH: Accusing BJP workers of attacking her and her guard during campaigning for the October 30 Bada Malhara assembly by-poll, Bhartiya Janshakti (BJS) chief Uma Bharti alleged that there was a "plot to kill her".
"BJP workers attacked me and my guard at Jaitpur village and tried to set fire to my helicopter," Bharti alleged at a public meeting in Mardewara village on Friday evening.
The police also refused to register a complaint, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister claimed.
Alleging a conspiracy to kill her, Bharti claimed that BJP workers were venting their personal grudge by attacking her and using indecent language against the BJS during electioneering.
