Air China to launch direct Beijing-New Delhi flights

BEIJING: Air China, the country's national carrier, will launch the first direct Beijing-New Delhi flights on October 30.

Air China  will operate three weekly flights from Beijing to New Delhi. Flights will be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The move by the Chinese airline is expected to greatly enhance air connectivity between the two neighbouring nations.

Currently, Air India and China Eastern Airlines are offering flights between India and China, but none have direct flights between Beijing and New Delhi.
