SANAA: Yemeni authorities arrested a man suspected of belonging to al Qaeda in the capital Sanaa on Wednesday, a security source said.
The source told Reuters the man was carrying explosives in a crowded area in central Sanaa, where Yemenis are voting for a new president.
"A man suspected of belonging to al Qaeda was arrested in the Liberation Square in Sanaa. He was carrying maps and explosives, maybe planning to carry out attacks," the source said.
